In the story, the title character Toriko is a "Bishokuya" (gourmet food provider) who travels the world to hunt down the animals and plants needed for the finest cuisine dishes. L'anime avrą inizio in Aprila alle 9:00 a.m. la domenica su Fuji TV e altri canali.
Alle 9:00 a.m. su Fuji TV's attualmente c'é Dragon Ball Kai. Toriko poi andrį in onda prima di One Piece, che inizia alle 9:30 a.m.
